FEESE: Solid Night In Nashville - TruckSeries.com Report

Blake FeeseBlake Feese in his first return to the Top-Tier NASCAR Touring Series since 2005 posted a12th-place finish at Nashville Superspeedway Saturday, August 1st in the No. 15 Phoenix Construction NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Billy Ballew Motorsports Toyota Tundra. Feese found driving these race trucks was like riding a bike and from the first laps of practice on Friday the driver made outstanding gains. He posted the No. 15 Billy Ballew Motorsports entry in the 18th-place position on the starting grid for the 150 lap race.

From the beginning of the event Feese advanced driving three wide for position picking up the 15th-place spot by lap 13. Soon after Feese reported the truck was tight and came into the pits on the competition caution on lap 35 for tires and track bar adjustments.

Feese returned to the track for the restart on lap 41 in the 14th-place position and was working his way forward when on lap 52 when another truck got into the Phoenix Construction Tundra bringing out the caution. Feese came to pit road for right side repairs on the Toyota Tundra and with diligent work by the pit crew led by Richie Wauters, Feese returned to the track in the 18th-place position.

Feese Returns to NASCAR in Nashville

Blake Feese will make his return to NASCAR Saturday, August 1, 2009 at Nashville Superspeedway piloting the No. 15 Billy Ballew Motorsports NASCAR Camping World Truck in the running of the Toyota Tundra 200.

The 27-year-old driver has one career NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start driving for Billy Ballew Motorsports in 2005 where he finished in the 15th-place position. Feese ran 13 events in the NASCAR Nationwide Series in 2004 and 2005.

The Billy Ballew Motorsports team will return to the Nashville Superspeedway with eight prior starts at the track with a best finish of 11th–place posted in 2004 and 2005. Feese has two ARCA RE/MAX Series races to his credit at the 1.33-mile D-shaped oval, posting one win in 2004 and a ninth-place finish in 2007.

“I’m so excited to be back racing in the trucks this weekend at Nashville,” Blake Feese said. “I made my first ever Camping World Truck Series start for Billy Ballew in 2005. I’ve worked with Richie (Wauters, crew chief) before and I couldn’t be happier than to have this whole team believe in me to drive for them this weekend. They have
consistently fast, solid trucks every week and I’m ready to jump right in. I’ve won in the ARCA (RE/MAX) Series and have a lot of laps from testing over the years in Nashville so I feel pretty good going back to that track. I have to thank Billy (Ballew) for the opportunity to drive the No. 15 Tundra this weekend and hopefully we’ll bring home a solid
finish Saturday.”

The No. 15 Billy Ballew Motorsports team comes off a season’s best finish of third-place last weekend at O’Reilly Raceway Park with Aric Almirola piloting the Toyota Tundra.

The Toyota Tundra 200 (150 lap, 200 mile) NASCAR Camping World Truck Series event is slated to begin Saturday, August 1, 2009 7:00pm CT with live televised broadcast on SPEED beginning at 6:30pm CT.

Feese Finishes 3rd at KC Raceway

April 3, 2008

Dear Fans:

I just wanted to bring everyone up to speed. After Daytona, I believed we would have been testing by now and preparing for the Arca race in Iowa. A few things have taken longer than we originally planned, so we are in a holding pattern. The good news is that great strides have been made in the past few weeks to get me back on the track this year. I am lucky enough to have strong supporters and very knowledgeable people working with me to help capitalize on a couple of great opportunities that have been presented.

As most of you know, teams cannot put racecars on the track without sponsors. One thing that I can tell you is that Fuel Performance Catalyst (FPC), has agreed to come back onboard to support me this year. With diesel prices hovering around $4/gal., trucking companies, school buses, railroads, grocery store chains, and others are treating their fuel with FPC, thereby increasing fuel economy and decreasing the amount of fuel they must buy. To learn how FPC can benefit you or your company, visit www.speeddistribution.com.

Stay tuned for more updates, and thank you for your continued support.

Sincerely,
Blake Feese
